Good Evening Loughts family,

Within our fabulous club community, we are blessed to have a range of such gifted coaches across all of our amazing teams, and it is so great to know that there remains yet so much untapped quality to unearth in our club ranks.

Now, in order to make sure that we continue to support existing and new star coaches on the hockey field, we are immensely proud to announce an exclusive Women & Girls Only Coaching Development opportunity taking place at the club on Monday 16th November, 7:00pm-9:00pm.

This session is designed to facilitate conversations between new and experienced coaches, and encourage fresh takes based on new insights and past experiences, as well as be an unique chance to network with other likeminded people.

We are also excited to announce that our guest coach will be England Hockey’s Sam Beveridge, who has a broad range of experience from managing the GB team at the 2024 Paris Olympics, to leading on coaching development at both England and Club levels.

So, whether you are interested in starting coaching for the first time; studying PE for GCSE/A Level; or have a wealth of hockey coaching experience, this will be an extremely fun night and a great learning experience, accompanied with some practical on-pitch sessions too.

Whilst this is a free event, numbers are limited, so to ensure you do not miss out on this amazing opportnity, be sure to email John Wrightnow, to secure your place (john.wcoach1@gmail.com).

Thank you to all the current coaching talents in our club family to continue to offer their valuable expertise to all of our players, and we look forward to seeing many more members embark on their very own coaching journey right here at Loughts!
