OLHC 2–5 Crostyx
What a game! We started really well and looked evenly matched from the start. We got the first goal, scored brilliantly by Ali, but Crostyx came back at us quickly and we had to dig deep.
Champs was making some fantastic saves, but eventually they found the back of the net to make it 1–1, and shortly before half-time they scored again to take the lead.

They came at us even harder in the second half, and unfortunately we picked up a few injuries along the way — Champs took a knock to the head, Purvi hurt her ankle and Ali injured her hand. By this point, Crostyx had extended their lead to 5–1.

Despite the scoreline, the we never gave up and continued to give it everything right until the final whistle. In the last few minutes, we won a short corner and Ollie stepped up and absolutely smashed the ball like a rocket straight into the back of the net! Their goalie didn’t even see it coming!

The final whistle went shortly afterwards, finishing OLHC 2–5 Crostyx.

Player of the Match: Purvi
Very well deserved.

Well played everyone for battling right to the end and never giving up!
