Another week, another win, and we’re STILL top of the league!

With so many players unavailable this week, we were looking a little thin on the ground! Thankfully, three lovely ladies making their debut came to our rescue, stepping up to help us out, and what a fantastic job they did! A massive thank you to all three for joining us and giving it your all.

We clearly weren’t planning on wasting any time because, within the very first minute, Kristina had already found the back of the net! What a way to start the game! 1–0 before we’d even had a chance to settle in!

Ali then added our second goal, followed by Frankie getting herself on the scoresheet with our third! Three different goal scorers, some brilliant teamwork and plenty of determination across the pitch.

But this certainly wasn’t an easy afternoon!

Despite the score line, this was a hard-fought game from start to finish. We had to dig deep, work together and battle for every ball. Unfortunately, the game also saw three nasty injuries, with one player sadly having to go to A&E. Sending lots of love and wishing everyone a speedy recovery.

The final score of 3–2 really doesn’t reflect the amount of effort, energy and determination that went into today’s performance. Every single player worked incredibly hard, and with a depleted squad, it really was a team effort to get those three points over the line!

Player of the Match – Champs!
A massive congratulations to Champs for a very well-deserved POTM! Once again, she was absolutely brilliant between the posts, making some crucial saves and keeping us in the game. We certainly wouldn’t be getting these results without her! What a star!

Final score: Redbridge 2–3 Old Loughts W5

And the best bit?

Still TOP of the league!
15 points
+32 goal difference

Another fantastic result, another three points in the bag and another reminder of what a brilliant team we have!

It might not have been our biggest win, but sometimes it’s these tough games that show just how much fight and spirit a team has.

Well done, ladies! Let’s keep this momentum going!

COME ON LOUGHTS!
