Great excitement all round at our first fun 4 a-side tournament of the season for our mixed U8s.

There were three visiting teams from Waltham Forest and two from Upminster. Old Loughts had planned for four teams, but added a fifth on the day to fill a "no show" gap. Every team played four 12 minute games.

All the children were engaged and enthusiastic and played really well, especially as this was the first time many had played to a whistle. What budding little stars we have :)

I hope they all had fun and that parents enjoyed cheering them on. I know the coaches and young helpers enjoyed it.

Any children who couldn't make Sunday will hopefully have a chance to take part at the next tournament. We will try and get a date in the calendar soon.
