The annual general meeting took place yesterday afternoon at the club.

All of the resolutions were passed.

As well as presenting his chairman's report, Simon Beckley gave an excellent presentation which was very well received by the members present. His slide show has been circulated to all members by Pitchero email. All of the reports can be read here.

Simon also answered questions from the floor. Members mentioned how helpful it was to be able to meet and discuss the vision and development of the Club and to hear first hand about all the work that goes on behind the scenes to manage what is in practice a not insignificant business as well as a major hockey club.

It was very pleasing to see younger members present and volunteering to contribute. As advertised, we have been looking for volunteers to act as a communications officer(s) and social secretaries and in other roles for some time. As mentioned last week if you would like to contribute in any capacity please do let Simon (or anyone else on the Management committee) know. "Your Club needs you".

Congratulations to Jill Bowyer and Ana Keogh who were appointed as Vice Presidents in recognition of their unsung but greatly valued contributions over many years.
