I have organized my next challenge in my fight against Parkinson’s: I will be completing the Annapurna circuit with some diversions, reaching heights of up to 6000 meters. I have self-funded this challenge.
I will be fundraising for Parkinson’s UK. Parkinson’s is the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world, and currently, no cure is available. I am looking to raise vital funding for research so that a cure or a disease-modifying treatment can be found. If not for me, then for future generations. Last year, the government provided 6.7 million for research, whereas Parkinson’s UK doubled that amount for research.
