Good evening Loughts family,

What a start to the new season we had at the weekend, with plenty of outstanding performances on show, and many great starts made to the 2026/27 campaign!

As always, all the action this year will be accompanied by Neil’s brilliant weekly summaries, keeping all club members up to date with the successes of all teams, and the all-important Golden Stick and Golden Glove races (with Match Day 1 a must-read, if you haven’t already!). These roundups continue to be an integral part of highlighting every home and away match of our fantastic adult teams, with 2 more sides added to the roster this season!

Now, to build upon this, we would love all teams to get involved in charting their own achievements and high points – from the astonishing amazing, to the absolutely absurd! And, a great way to do this is through the match report section of all Loughts teams’ fixtures right here on Pitchero.

Some teams and seasoned reporters have already made their start on telling their very own “story behind the stats”, and it is now on the rest of the club to brush up on their fast-typing skills to join in with the commentaries.

At this point, it is worth mentioning that the team (and reporter) that writes the best pieces will receive a special end-of-season award and prize!

So, to begin crafting your match masterpieces, first select a designated storyteller, and then just follow the 10 steps imaged in the attached document file below…

Note 1: You can also add your own photos and videos to each match report you write – also shown in the attachment.
Note 2: You need to be a team admin in order to write and publish a match report for your team, so please contact the Comms Team for permission to be granted if required.
