The U18G travelled to Cheltenham Sunday for their T2 Plate semi final. As has been the theme all season the girls dominated possession and territory but couldn’t make that final connection in the D and covert their pressure and finished the half 0-0. They started the second half strongly camped in the Cheltenham half but on their first real attack Cheltenham won a short corner and with a slick one two routine slotted the ball home to a take the lead early on. From then it was total OL pressure, the girls finally drew level with a third phase scramble from one of their many short corners resulting in Kareena pouncing on a chance and forcing the Cheltenham defender to kick it into her own goal. The girls continued to dominate and create chances but couldn’t find the winning goal. Full time 1-1 and a penalty shoot out followed. This time they dominated with Sophie saving 3 and Ollie, Amelia and Grace scoring all three of our shuffles to close out Cheltenham 3-1. The girls will compete in the EH finals in Nottingham on 14th April. Well done girls.
