Old Loughtonians were a founder member of the National League and have been National League and Cup champions. Almost all of the members of the current M1s squad either play or played colt hockey at the club or are university friends of those colts. The team won the East Conference of predominantly London clubs in 2021/22 and following promotion was runner up in England Hockey Division 1 South in 2022/23. It is aiming for promotion again this season.
