About the team

Named in memory of Tom Wilson, the Willows aim to provide a first experience of competitive men's league hockey for adults and colts before they move up to higher teams. There are currently four Willows teams:

Men's 5s - "Willows 1s"
Men's 6s - "Willows Woodsmen"
Men's 7s - "Willows Rangers"
Men's 8s - "Willows Axemen"

All Willows teams play in the lower divisions of the East Men's League (EML).

The Willows 2s (the "Woodsmen") started in division 10SE in 2018/19 and were promoted to division 9SE and promoted again to division 8SE. After the recent EML reorganisation, they played in division 6SE in the 2021/22 season where they finished 3rd behind division champions Willows 1s. In 2022/23, following further reorganisation, they played in division 5SE and will play there again in 2023/24.
