Another week of double figures having put 11 past Chelmsford the previous week to claim the league title the mighty Willows 1's breezed past Witham with 11 outfield players and no goal keeper. Luke Bennett scored on his debut within the first minute of play and the goals just kept coming, other than for MoM Charlie Elliott! A Witham spectator reported a total of 27 Old Loughts short corners. Not sure if he counted how many times Witham managed to penetrate the Old Loughts D which I believe was once.

So a few stats before the final home game next Saturday at 11.30 at home. Played 21 Won 21 Scored 151 conceded 8. Goals per game average 7.2. OK so they might have misplaced us when they set the new leagues up this season but even so, an impressive season wouldn't you say!!
