A fairly even game, though I think we had the edge and more possession in the first half. We had many chances in the D making the keeper work hard. Some of our shots went frustratingly inches-wide of the goal. Unfortunately though, Braintree managed to score their two goals in this half, by taking advantage of quick breaks and an unmarked high-hanging forward, who linked well with a couple of other very speedy forwards.

We learnt our lesson for the second half, with a much tighter defence. Our only goal came from Anabel, who weaved her way down the left flank and into the D, popping in the goal at close quarters. Very impressive.

Nell had a great game for us in goal but it was "little Suzie" who claimed the MoM. She did what was asked of her brilliantly and tirelessly :)

Some very nice play all round. A shame we couldn't quite convert this to a win, or at least a draw, but we are improving all the time.
