The Club recognises the vital role Umpires play in enabling the game to be played and developed. We are fortunate to have a pool of qualified and developing umpires at the club. However we also recognise the need to support the development of new and existing umpires. This will impact on the following;

Recruitment and retention of umpires at all levels
Enjoyment of umpires
Quality of the playing experience
Appreciation of players from within the club of umpires
It is also often said that gaining experience as an umpire will actually improve your playing performance as you will understand the rules!
